I continue to closely monitor the coronavirus situation impacting NYS. At this time there are no changes to the upcoming ⁦NYSPHSAA⁩ State Championships. Updated information will be provided as it becomes available.

Received several calls tonight related to a conf call with Section Directors tomorrow. This mtg is designed for me to provide an update on Championships & answer questions. This mtg will NOT determine fate of championships. At this time championships will be hosted as scheduled.

We have confirmed with state officials that low & moderate risk winter sports may begin play on Nov. 30. We continue to examine opportunities for high-risk sports to be played with strict risk minimization efforts in place. At this time, high-risk sports are not authorized.
