The group of seniors who meet weekly at the OBA Mercatorplein are enthusiastically working on the Tinker activity "Make something funny that rolls" developed in co-creation with elderly of this group. They were very enthusiastic and made creative rollers. NEMO Science Museum

During co-design session with a rural audience in Serbia, it's discovered that both kids and adults struggle with vocabulary, including #slang and #digital-age terms. To tackle this, a fun #tinkering workshop "Words Out of the Cube" was created to explore these words together!🎲

A very enthusiastic group of elderly made #stopmotion video’s in the library @OBA Mercatorplein. For most it was the first time they made stop motion video’s! They also learned about the early beginning of animation and experienced with zootroop and traumatroop. NEMO Science Museum

In February, austrian local hub (Science Center Netzwerk, Büchereien Wien) met up with their cooperation partners from UKI for a co-creation session. Together with adult learners of German, they adapted two different #tinkering activities: "Haiku forests" and "Pop-corn book"!

To round-off the Tinkering workshop series in Austria, same group of women learning German gathered again. This time, they made beautiful pop-up cards, expressing personal stories and ideas. Using different materials and techniques, many different styles of cards were created.

Yesterday, we have joined the Pre-Game of the #NextLibrary Conference at #DomenAarhus 🌿 It was quite an ispirational day, filled with cozy activities like sketching, paper stiching, woodcarving, origami and talks about #tinkering with cake and coffee! 😁
