So many films have 2K CGI, but is anyone complaining?? But more & more producers are asking for us to shoot 4K—but for what? I can shoot great images in HD & you wouldn’t complain. I don’t need to “re-frame,” or “have 2 angles,” bc pros frame well & shoot single cam as if it’s 2.

Apparently Blackmagic Design thinks 60 FPS is high frame rate video. Spoiler: It’s not; it’s a standard frame rate that every video device should support. Anything *above* 60 FPS is considered high frame rate. It’s only (subjectively) HFR with regards to film.

Here’s a snippet of an interview I DP’d a few weeks ago for Sports Illustrated. Had to light a gym and build 3 camera angles in a short timeframe. Great working with you Ashley and Dakota!
