Our preprint is out now on biorxiv : doi.org/10.1101/2023.0…. In this work we investigate the interplay between interaction strength and sequence composition on phase separation of model disordered proteins. Mittal Group @TAMU Dinesh S. Devarajan Mike Howard

Our new preprint is out on bioRxiv: doi.org/10.1101/2023.0… Here, we decipher the material properties of condensates and their connection to microscopic dynamics & dilute phase conformations, in a sequence-dependent manner!🙂 Thanks to Mittal Group @TAMU, Jiahui, Arash & Young.

📚 Just released on bioRxiv! 📢 Check out our preprint on a new coarse-grained DNA model.🧬The model's compatibility with existing protein models opens up exciting possibilities for investigating complex biological systems. Big Thanks to Young & Mittal Group @TAMU for their guidance.

Excited to share our preprint on HP1 family phase separation. HP1alpha, HP1beta, HP1gamma... sound alike, look alike, but act differently, especially when DNA comes into play.Curious?Check out biorxiv.org/content/10.110… Big high five to rockstar Jeetain Mittal and amazing Debelouchina Lab at UCSD!

Our work Jayakrishnashenoy Azamat Rizuan on the contribution of hydrophobic residues in CR and flanking IDRs towards TDP-43 LCD phase separation is online at: pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pn… Grateful to Mittal Group @TAMU and Nicolas Lux Fawzi for their constant support and encouragement 🙏

Excited to share our work on phase separation of polyhomeotic protein in collaboration with Francis Lab led by Tim Gemeinhardt and Roshan M Regy

Happy to share our work in collaboration with Libich Lab (directory.uthscsa.edu/academics/prof…). Kandarp Sojitra led the computational part to complement Courtney Johnson's amazing NMR work.

Excited to share our work that just got published in Nature Chemistry nature.com/articles/s4155…. Here we demonstrate the rules that governs co-partitioning of disordered proteins. Special thanks to Mittal Group @TAMU Matthew C. Good Rachel Welles Roshan M Regy Mikael V. Garabedian

Noah Wake, Shuo-Lin Weng, Tongyin Zheng and Jeetain Mittal and my lab find R-R and polar residues contacts including Q contribute to FUS phase separation. Specific polar residue positions, not just residue type, regulate liquid-to-solid change #Friday_FUS biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Excited to share a new preprint from Jeetain Mittal lab led by our talented graduate student - Busra Ozguney. We used atomistic MD simulations to explore how RNA modifies the conformational landscape and intradomain stability of TDP-43 tandem RRMs. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Excited to share our recent computational work from Jeetain Mittal's lab in Nature Communications (nature.com/articles/s4146……), where we show how material properties of condensates are encoded in a disordered protein sequence and can be predicted from dilute phase conformations.

Thrilled to share that our work on HSPB1 is featured on the J. Am. Chem. Soc. cover! A wonderful collaboration with Mittal Group @TAMU and @GaliaLab, and such a joy to work with Ray Berkeley and Alex Plonski.
