Today marks the 83rd anniversary of the raid on Dieppe during WWII. Let us honour the Canadian soldiers who fought courageously that day, and whose sacrifice ultimately made possible the Allied victory on D-Day.

Grand-Pre National Historic Site is a remarkable place to visit to understand the Deportation, a tragic part of our history. A UNESCO en français World Heritage Site,Thanks Parks Canada, another reason to take advantage free admission to historic sites.

Their Honours were delighted to welcome the 78th Highlanders to Gov House during the Freedom of the City Parade. The LtGov inspected the Guard, followed by refreshments in the garden. Freedom of the City is a time-honored tradition that dates as far back as the Roman Empire.

“Giving extraordinary kids a chance to be ordinary”. That’s Brigadoon Village where kids have the camp experience all kids should have, only it’s remarkable and in some cases, life changing. It was truly wonderful to have the opportunity to chat with some great campers.
