In these days of anxiety, I wanted to find a way to continue to share some of the music that gives me comfort. The first of my #SongsOfComfort: Dvořák – "Going Home” Stay safe.

In light of current circumstances, if you are feeling at all unwell, please help us ensure the health and safety of our customers and staff by refraining from coming into the shop. We are more than happy to carry out business by telephone or email. 01923232412 [email protected]

As a company we are following all the health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of our customers and staff. In light of the current Government advice and to ensure social distancing, we will now be restricting visits to the shop.

This doesn’t mean we are closing but changing the way we operate. We all know music brings so much joy and has countless benefits. In these worrying times what could be better for your soul than playing your instrument.

Thwaites (@thwaitesuk) 's Twitter Profile Photo

From Saturday 21st March all customer visits and repair work will be booked strictly on a case-by-case basis. There may be alternative ways we can accommodate customers - perhaps with delivery & collection of instruments.

Of course, we will continue to post out strings and accessories as normal. This enables everyone to stay safe whilst continuing to enjoy their music-making.
