Another long day in Gothenburg. Our U15’s had an early start against Falkopings in a winner takes all match. Despite battling hard they found the opposition keeper in good form, losing 1-0. Afterwards they enjoyed some time at the hub of Gothia cup, the Heden centre πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ⚽️🏟️

The U16’s were 1 minute away from forfeiting their match after Gothia cup transport failed them. Despite starting with the first XI onto the pitch & no warm up, they defeated SG Ruddalen 2-0, and advance to the last 32. Lola & Kyara with the goals, Jess & Laila with the cards!

What a start to the day, a 4-0 win for the U15’s to kick off the knockout stages. Two long range strikes from Lauren, goals for Bella and Summer after great work from Eva. They now have an evening match to look forward to, 8pm local time vs Norwegian opposition πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸšŒπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ⚽️

Despite a brilliant effort in 30 degree heat, the U16’s lost 1-0 to Sydney University. We dominated the early exchanges but our opposition who have been in Europe for two weeks preparing, took control of the game and scored a really well worked winner. βš½οΈπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ✈️🌏

An absolutely mad day of tournament football ended with a 9pm kick off for the U15’s, and a 6-0 win over Norwegian opposition to progress to the last 16 of the B playoffs. Eva x2, Bella M x2, Summer and Charlotte. 12 hours on the go today βš½οΈπŸšŒπŸ† πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ

The football has come to an end as the U15’s succumbed to the heat and fatigue in a 1-0 loss. Playing at Kviberg with an impressive 25 pitches, we saw another brilliant display from this young school team against strong foreign opposition. They can be so proud of their week βš½οΈπŸ†

Theme park Friday this afternoon in Gothenburg, enjoying all that Liseberg has to offer. We had so much fun that we forgot to take any photos! The final night of tour is all about final speeches, awards, lots of fun & usually plenty of emotions. Tonight was no exception! πŸ«ΆπŸ»βš½οΈπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺπŸ…
