"The data is the payload." Thought provoking from the amazing Starship test flight. We need to learn as much from each "rocket launch" (clinical trial, experiment, hit generation campaign), successful or not, so we can iterate to success like this in drug discovery & development

Speculating, say it's $100M per launch, or $300M to date. Maybe the vehicle is lost, but say in 2 more flights it works, that's $500M, and each launch dramatically de-risks and improves the product. And eventually it becomes $20-30M / launch. Not bad compared to clinical trials
