The Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers' Training Academy recently held the commencement ceremony for Basic Class #266. The 52 graduates completed twelve weeks of coursework designed to teach students how to do the job of a law enforcement officer in a safe and effective manner.

A friend contacted me in distress. His brother was rushed to a local hospital while driving through Texas. I called my fellow state trooper Justin Chrane, Asst. Chief- Texas DPS. Ten minutes later, Two Troopers arrived to support him until his family could get there. 🙏🏾

Pleased with our 1st annual All Staff Retreat on the MS Gulf Coast! With a focus on team building, we heard from Billy Hewes & Lt. Col. Thomas Tuggle. We also learned about the great work done by the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies and Mississippi Aquarium!
