“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6, ESV) The child in the manger is no mere infant. He is the Wonderful

Amen. Psalm 99 is a beautiful reminder that Yahweh resigns and He is holy and exalted above all. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6 that God reigns over all creation, providing for even the birds and the lilies. Anxiety cannot add a single moment to our lives, but trusting in His

As Christians, we must guard against what C. S. Lewis called “chronological snobbery” – the assumption that our era’s way of thinking is superior. By studying the history of interpretation, we’re reminded of our limits – chronological, cultural, and personal. It opens our eyes to

The Lord knows what we truly need, even when our hearts chase lesser desires. We may crave ease, but God works for our holiness. Trust His wisdom, for His ways lead to life.

Someone shared this with me, and I had to pass it on! Don’t just be a passive attendee—get involved, serve, and be part of what God is doing through your church. Attending is great for growth, but serving connects you to your purpose and your church family. Let’s be active
