I've never seen The Abyss (1989) before. Which version should I watch (special edition is 28 mins longer)?

Hated the happy ending with a passion, but that's an otherwise classic right there. Bravo.

I watched Ghost (1990) for the first time last night.

Finally got to see Late Night With The Devil last night. Aside from an ending which I would have handled differently, I thought that it was fucking brilliant. Loved it.
