Lover of the finer things in life, like doner kebab pizzas and drinking cans on the train. I decide the Warwickshire Player Of The Match when the vote is a tie.

The left back situation is just odd. We look short at centre half despite bringing three of them in. I'm unconvinced by Robinson - Sheffield United fans were delighted he left, he was dreadful against us 2 weeks before we signed him, and he's always been reckless, as Cov showed.

I'm probably wrong - I normally am - but I do find it a bit fucking boring that after England were the first and, so far, only European team to qualify for the World Cup (two games out of ten in hand), all the conversation is about players not in the squad.

I generally think podcasts about Blues are crap, but these two are really building a very, very good one. Apart from the fact they'll both probably be retiring by the time the Sports Quarter is finished (lots about that on this), they are well worth a follow/listen.

Should have tried being at Blackpool 0 Blues 0 first, then going to Blackpool Walkabout thinking "well, it can't get any worse!" And it did.

Tough to take that, but ultimately if you're coming away from home to a half decent team, having 72% possession, 13 shots to 5, 6 corners to 0, etc, you really need to fucking make something of it.

November looks a big month. Three home games, plus away at Albion which is like a home game anyway. Boro away the difficult one.

It’s the 30th anniversary of this lovely bit of gamesmanship from Gary McAllister and John Pemberton at Elland Road. Here they carry an injured Peter Ndlovu off the field, before taking a quick throw-in which leads to a goal for McAllister. Merciless.
