Whenever a guru tells you that you only have a few months left to "make it" - you're about to be sold some BS. Sure - always be moving fast. But the world is going to keep spinning and money will keep being made. If you feel behind, focus on real skills that will compound over

Most talented freelancers are broke. They perfect their skills but can't sell them. Meanwhile, average people with good sales skills make $20-30K consistently. Your skills are probably good enough. Learn to sell.

The bar is so low with this stuff. Hardly anyone looks people in the eye, says hello or thanks, and actually acknowledges anyone. There is a girl on front desk in my gym that hardly even looks up from her phone at anyone. Learning basic communication puts you in the top 10%.

Little late on uploading this - launched late last night and already half way sold out. Super fun launch to be involved in - and Tom Noske runs a beast of a branding program. Update in a few days.

Rookies try sell the first chance they can on a sales calls. Sometimes it works, but often you lose the bigger deals. Pros wait. They more questions. Test the sale. Shake out the objections. Then they close. Don’t rush to sell.

Pretty fair request to have a call with someone you hiring for important work. Doesn't matter if its $20k, $2k or $200k. Run your business how you want - but this sort of approach is going to have 90% of clients passing on you.
