After over two years smashing out nanopore libraries and doing great research, @bulking_neuron has left the lab to join Oxford Nanopore as an Account Executive for Québec, Eastern Ontario and the Maritimes. Thanks for everything Bastien and we look forward to future collaboration 🧬

All Service de Séquençage Nanopore Canada services are maintained and will be managed through Centre de recherche Azrieli du CHU Sainte-Justine via a new Integrative Genomics platform, joining forces with experts from the single-cell sequencing core facility.

Nicholas Geoffrion has joined nanopore.ca Service de Séquençage Nanopore Canada to provide software engineering, data analysis and computational infrastructure support. He has lengthy experience integrating software solutions for genomics laboratories.

We have received funding from IVADO & @GenomeQuebec in collaboration with Dr Michael Chassé's team at Centre de recherche du CHUM to explore the potential of real-time transcriptomic profiling in intensive care. ivado.ca/en/2023/01/24/…

We will be soon be hiring a postdoctoral research officer (Level A) in Sydney to work on developing new applications for single-cell, single-molecule transcriptomics. Stay tuned.
