I really hate oversharing on this app, but I have experienced homophobia/transphobia three times in the past month. A few weeks ago, I was lambasted by two men at the gym who were arguing about my existence and debating which bathroom I should be using.

I was also harassed by churchgoing men who said I am an abomination and that “it” - referring to me, needed to be “taken care of.” Another time , two 🥷🏾 walking behind me were literally plotting to rape me.

just a few months ago, 2 phara’s were openly talking about how, if I wasn’t in a safe area, they would have killed me. This is my everyday reality, and constantly complaining about it feels pointless, cause no has ever taken my experiences with transphobia/ homophobia seriously.

We are constantly not taken serious, and are labeled as sensitive. This is not to garner sympathy, attention, pity, pls ✋ I’m just sharing my experiences with homophobia/transphobia.
