I think it needs to be taught in schools that writing “slow news day” in the comment section of any online news story is a bad idea. I see it every day and it never fails to make me cringe in embarrassment, particularly when it’s on stories that are irrefutably newsworthy.

Bryan and Jo Guy are lovely people who showed unbelievable poise and grace in the face of any parent’s worst nightmare. Ten years have passed since Scott’s untimely death and still they show no sign of bitterness or resentment.
