In 1969, The Guess Who released the single "No Time" / "Proper Stranger" on RCA Victor. The "No Time" track was a re-recorded radio-friendly version of the song that first appeared on their Canned Wheat album. This new version gained more popularity, reaching No. 5 on the U.S.
