I feel like Dr. Manhattan is a better deconstruction of Superman than Injustice Superman. He doesn’t go evil β€” he simply becomes detached. His arc is about apathy, not tyranny, and its an overall better way of showing what too much power does to you.

DC’s universe is fundamentally mythological, not realistic (to a degree) β€” and that’s its strength. Trying to β€œChristopher Nolan” everything strips away what makes DC unique.
