Thanks for the shout-out Harvard SEAS ! This comes with a raise right?
The "zombie quinone" story continues in Nature Chemistry! This began as group meeting speculation... ultimately brought to fruition thanks to relentless experiments by Prof. Marc-Antoni Goulet and Dr. Yan Jing in our group, and brilliant collab with @EvanWenboZhao Grey Group!
In our latest flow battery paper, led by Kiana Amini and Emily Kerr, we introduce a monosubstituted anthraquinone with 1 M solubility and extremely high stability! Until now, our RFB quinones have 2 side chains, but with just 1, we can ... (1/3) onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.100…
Membranes for aqueous organic flow batteries are a challenge... so it takes a team effort! Our latest paper, led by Tommy (Tommy George) in our lab, Dr. Brian Robb from Marshak Group, and Dr. Cy Fujimoto from Sandia National Labs shares a new membrane candidate: iopscience.iop.org/article/10.114… (1/5)
Having a blast at ECS #ECS244 in Gothenburg, Sweden! 🇸🇪 We have several talks (see 🧵) - Eric Fell on 0D modeling of flow cells, Kiana Amini on quinone-CO2 capture mechanism, Tommy George on electrodialysis CO2 capture & Prof. Yan Jing on aqueous organic CO2 capture performance
A demo of what I’ve built Aziz Lab to accelerate flow battery testing capabilities has just dropped. Our high-throughput setup opens up parameter space for electrochemical screening of battery electrolytes, streamlining R&D for new chemistries/protocols iopscience.iop.org/article/10.114…
#NOVONIX UHPC technology is making waves at Harvard University, where Aziz Lab is advancing Aqueous Organic Redox Flow Batteries. Dive into our blog for more insights. 👉 Read here: novonixgroup.com/harvard-case-s… Eric Fell Harvard SEAS
