For my AP Government we are promoting an interest group on social media! We would appreciate your support! The group we created is called The Education Project. We are fighting to give children in third world countries, especially young girls, the right to education.

One of the biggest obstacles in education is gender. In many underdeveloped countries young girls are prevented from attending school simply because they are the “wrong gender.” #genderequality #EducationForAll #educationmatters

Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” If we enable all people to have access to education, this world would be an entirely different place. #NelsonMandela #ChangeTheWorld

Access to education can solve many of this world’s problems, like poverty. Studies have shown that when one receives an education, they are given the resources to succeed within the work force of their nation. People that are able to do skilled jobs equals less poverty.
