#RobertDudley 's genealogy was charted following his appointment as Lieutenant of the Most Noble Order of the Garter in 1572.
One of the most well-known portraits from this time (c.1575) depicts him wearing the collar of the Order.

It is thought that #ThomasSeymour and #KatherineParr married in secret (possibly at Chelsea Manor) at the end of Apr/beginning of May 1547.
Katherine would die in childbirth in Sep 1548 at #SudeleyCastle , with Thomas executed for treason in Mar 1549.
