Editorial finished for CG245 today and the next issue goes to print in a couple of days. It won’t be ready to sell at VP next Saturday but we should be ok for Saturday 26th at the Doncaster home game instead. CG245 comes out exactly 40 years after issue CG1 went on sale.

I think making it to 40 years officially makes CG a heritage publication.

It’ll be interesting to see who will be there this evening. No invite for me, not that I could have gone anyway as I’ve had a minor operation this morning. All gone well btw.

I write to RS each time I send him a copy of the latest issue. Not heard back from him recently, so I have to assume that he is taking Sportswear Dave’s gentle humour about his “secret diary” in good spirit? If not, I would have expected him to let me know.
