Kyle Whittingham said he wouldn’t talk to players unless they are in the portal. When a player enters the portal with a do not contact tag, they have been tampered with.

Whitt burning his legacy to the ground just lead Michigan to 8-4 (at best) for the next 3 years is quite the choice. At a national level, people will remember he couldn’t get it done at a blue blood with all the resources. At a local level, it’ll take a loooong time to forgive.

The fact that BYU let Kingston play all year is disgusting. And before you say “they were waiting for the investigation to close” I actually agree they shouldn’t kick him off the team until they have all the answers. However, you have to suspend him until it’s settled.

Talked to an out-of-state coach about a player under police investigation. His take: No program is clueless during a police investigation—they typically provide some sort of legal support for the player. If they truly don’t know, it’s either bad staff or lazy player oversight.
