On Friday evening, (6/7/2024) the first of our high school commencement ceremonies took place on the grounds of The Academy. Family members, staff, and students gathered together to enjoy this happy time.

The evening was filled with several magical moments that will be remembered forever. Longtime teacher Kelly Graham received a heartwarming tribute as she prepares to retire; students performed a musical number, much to the delight of all in attendance.

Principal Amanda Marshall could not be prouder of her students and wishes them all that life has to offer. And with that, the diploma distribution began. The pride is apparent here -- their faces tell it all.

With one final tradition -- the turning of the tassles -- our students are now ready for the world. Your grit, determination, and achievements have been profound and we are grateful to have been a part of your journey. Congratulations - we can't wait to see what you all do next!

Today we signed our whole school charter (students and staff) which was created collectively and describes how we want to feel here, what we will do to ensure EVERYONE feels that way and what we agree to do if conflict arises. Belonging matters!

Students will be receiving RISE tickets for displaying Resilience, Integrity, Service & Empowerment that they can enter into the raffle to win a monthly prize!

Sincere was the recipient of the History award courtesy of the Milford Historical Society for outstanding History student!

The Academy hosted a very successful career fair on May 8th. Students got to speak to representatives from a variety of careers including music production (gold record award), mechanic, real estate, law enforcement/fire service, and many more!
