Had a lovely afternoon with my family in Cardiff city centre today. However, it also turned out to be a rather expensive trip as I purchased a couple of items of gear for The Dev Den's YouTube channel - a DJI dual-channel wireless mic system and a cold shoe mounted video light.

Sitting in the departure lounge waiting for our flight to Croatia. Looking forward to visiting PEEK&POKE retro computer museum in Rijeka on Saturday, celebrating their 15th birthday!

Spotted this baby at the Nikola Tesla museum in Zagreb, Croatia today. A conversion of DOOM! for it is just a matter of time now!

Travelled over 500 miles yesterday to collect this pair of lovely, shiny items for The Dev Den. Any guesses what they will be used for? I’ll post the answer tomorrow.

Ta-da!! Here is the follow up to yesterday’s post: Yes, the two tall, shiny things are going to be used as speaker stands in the music corner of The Dev Den. Not that surprising, I know, but they do fit the bill rather well, I think. That’s not the end of it though…

…both the stands and the monitor speakers are going to be made over in the signature colours of The Dev Den, orange and white. Take my word for it, they are going to look fantastic! No, really, they will, wait and see.😎

An international friendly match of Subbuteo took place at #TheCave during the November Patron Day between John Shawler Amigos Retro Gaming for the USA and Neil @RMCRetro for Blighty. All was going well but Neil was called away and yours truly had to step in and sub! Result 1-1 draw.👍

A real highlight for me of the November patron day at #TheCave @RMCRetro @RetroDaysOut was meeting Dave Velociraptor Velociraptor of This week in Retro This Week in Retro A really lovely and interesting guy.

Fantastic public session at The Cave @RMCRetro today. Special guest h0ffman came to see his Amiga game Cecconoid running on the Arcadia Super Select System. And we had a surprise visit by the legendary Jeff Minter,whom I had a nice chat with,a real honour to have met him

Dan popped into the museum to check out how we were getting on with the #Multisystem2 design, it needs a sticker or two. More Multisystem2 updates next week. Richard has evolved the enclosure design to include a lot more future upgrade expansions for this FPGA Retrogaming console

The whole collective was in today to chat about plans, collaborations, expansion, content and ambitions for 2025. We’re looking forward to sharing this with you next week.
