20 YEARS: On May 30, 2004, the #Indy500 finished 180 laps before fans needed to seek shelter due to a Marion Co tornado warning. An F2 tornado with 117-157 mph winds tracked 6 miles south of Indianapolis Motor Speedway & traveled over 17 miles through the southern part of the #Indianapolis metro.

Look at these totals! Shelbyville has measured over 3' of rain just from this morning! Indianapolis at 1.76' from both days combined.

Meanwhile, some areas like Muncie and Lafayette have only measures ~1/4' as a combined total for both days.
