Louisville Metro Gov and the union representing police officers signed a contract that boosts officer pay & throws out discipline if investigations take too long. The public has until tomorrow to register to comment on it. From Rachel Smith and me: courier-journal.com/story/news/cri…

So, Mayor Craig Greenberg can scrounge up a 22% pay rise for cops over 4 years no problem and yet is telling TARC workers & riders "welp sucks for you" when he has the ability to put permanent operational funding in his budget for transit? Make it make sense.

This Thursday; we need YOU to tell council that this contract, negotiated in secret, is unacceptable. We will have signs for you to hold!

TONIGHT! We’ve heard that they are trying to push this later in the meeting to wait us out. But we’ve got nothing but time when important issues like this are at stake!
