He heard her then went to go find her. “Grace.”

He kept walking. “Grace?!”

He walked toward her voice then saw her as he almost went by her. “Grace.” He walked over to her and then picked her up.

He smiled softly. “Maybe tomorrow. As it’s getting late so it’s bath time then bed time.”

“Yes tomorrow. Like first thing after we have breakfast.”

He walked over to her. “Grace? What are you doing up?”

“Why not?” He gently knelt down in front of her. He could tell she was tired.

“The toy? Oh, I was trying to fix his little eye. Come on, back to bed. Then I’ll bring the bunny in.” He stood up then gently picked her up and took her back over to her bed.

He smiled then nodded. “Of course. Now get some sleep.”

He gently laid her down then covered her up. “Now sleep.”

He smiled then went back to finish fixing the bunny before walking quietly back and placing the bunny in bed with her.
