New branch secretary is Nick who has reluctantly stepped up to ensure the branch Constitution is upheld.

Remaining in post are Graham as branch contact, Julian D as membership, Julian S as Pubs Officer

We have a new vice chair to boot which is Damien who brings plenty of experience to the role

Also on committee will be Peter, John B and Rick without specialist roles

Best news of the day is that the Beer Festival Committee is currently puliing together the budget to get official approval to run the event in 2022. There is optimistism that the beer festival will go ahead. Watch this space...!!

It's only 5 weeks now until this years Thanet Easter Beer & Cider Festival. Friday 15th and Saturday 16th April at #margatewintergardens. Doors open from 12 with early access for card carrying CAMRA members from 11am on the Friday. See you there

A MESSAGE FROM THE BEER FESTIVAL ORGANISING COMMITTEE 1/3 We are really looking forward to welcoming you all back to the Winter Gardens this weekend. Covid has been hard and it seems like ages since we last enjoyed the great selection of beers and ciders which have become the

2/3 trademark of our festival. We do, however, have one favour to ask. In order to protect our fantastic volunteers, the Winter Gardens staff and, of course, our customers, we request that anyone who is displaying Covid symptoms, or has recently tested positive, does not attend

3/3 the festival. This will ensure that we get through the weekend as safely as possible and welcome you back to a new venue in the future. Thank you!
