All of the barges have now passed #TowerBridge & are driving through the bridges. They will have to pass beneath a total of nine bridges before they reach the finish. #BargeRace #PlatinumJubilee #QueensPlatinumJubileeRace

From the start at #Greenwich through to the end at #Westminster, the 45th Thames Barge Driving race was a golden day for the river - good to see it busy with visitors again today.

The Trust would like to thank Bill Robinson, Collins Waterage & Lighterage, GPS Marine & S. Walsh for providing tugs to assist moving the barges & watching over the crews during the race.

Special thanks are also in order for Nick Bil & Charlie Bil who not only provided the tug Ensign but travelled for two days from Windsor to support the Barge Race.

We would also like to thank Northern Exposure Rescue for providing three high speed RIBS to safeguard our barge crews.

Many thanks to Ken Dwan for providing the passenger boat Windrush 46 as the Umpire Boat, Crown River Cruises for providing Salient as the official following boat & the many other passenger boat operators who showed their support for the Barge Race.
