If you have not been out since yesterday, road conditions have significantly worsened in Sherman/Denison. Most are solid sheets of ice, making travel extremely difficult. And there is more frozen precipitation in the forecast today. Stay home if you can.

We are experiencing outages to our 9-1-1 system across the area. If you are in Grayson County and your 9-1-1 call does not go through right away, hang up and dial 903-813-4411.

We will see scattered showers and storms and some could be strong/severe storms from 4pm-11pm. Hail and damaging winds will be the main threats through the evening hours. Have multiple ways to receive warnings, stay weather aware, and stay safe.

As we begin to enter storm season again. Please do make sure to pay attention to the weather and have several ways to be notified.
