Venturing out of Hville today for a court hearing in the #michaelcummins case. Cummins is charged with killing 8 people in Westmoreland.

Michael Cummins pleaded guilty this a.m. to eight counts of first-degree murder for the 2019 slayings. He’ll serve life in prison without the possibility of parole.

DA Ray Whitley had been seeking the death penalty in the case. He said today that Cummins’ defense presented brain scans in April that indicated a mental health issue.
