My 2026 Y got FSD 14.2 overnight! Here is my first disengagement, which occurred only a few seconds into the drive, where FSD reversed into and over the curb of my driveway. Surprising! Be careful and attentive in reverse while on FSD 14.2! Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Shout out to all those who respect their batteries! I charge this battery to only 56% regularly! Plenty of⚡️ to get me around town. When I start a road trip, I do charge to 100% initially, but use the scheduling feature to make sure it does not stay at 100% for very long.

The Tesla iOS app was updated to version 4.51.5, and it contained a very useful new feature. The car’s location arrow now points in the direction of the car and it shows your distance from the car! This updates in real time! Here is a quick recording of me walking to my car!

I wanted to share an interesting Tesla nav routing problem. My neighbor has a circular driveway and Tesla routing thinks I should drive through it to get to my house. When coming down the street from one side, FSD will turn into the driveway even.

We just had the first snowstorm of the year. Hit defrost on my Model Y, cleared my driveway, and 30m later opened the Tesla app to check the car. I was a little surprised to see the interior temp reading 110°F. This is higher than expected! Should there be a capped max temp?

Andrey 🦃 Petrov Very good questions imo experienced devs have a real advantage but only if they rapidly progress through their grief cycle and adapt, now and onwards. Categorically rejecting or ignoring the new layer would be a mistake.

Pro tip: hardwire your EV charger. Most NEMA-1450 outlets are not rated for the high continuous loads and will at best melt and at worse start a fire. Just watch this YouTube series by Tom Moloughney - Recharge Rescue youtube.com/playlist?list=…

That article is FUD. I visited the Tesla Diner last Tuesday (12/30) at 12:30pm. There were no available tables and a line to buy merchandise or use the bathroom! That is opposite of what the article describes. Mini review: Chocolate chip cookie - 8.5/10 Strawberry shake: 8/10

Already 18 sessions/stall/day across 80 stalls. A Los Angeles charging oasis for Teslas and humans alike. The food & operations are only getting better. We're always learning and will apply these learnings to future Supercharger amenities.

Charging preparations for extreme US winter weather → If charging at home, charge to 100% → Always route to Superchargers using Tesla Navigation to precondition your battery for the fastest charging → For Model 3/Y standard range rear wheel drive: use 250kW+ Superchargers

There’s a rounding bug in the new Tesla Home SoC. As you can see in my video, the new view displays 1% higher SoC than the car view. I go back and forth between the pages to show that.

Anyone having issues with their Tesla app this morning? Seeing a “500 Server Error” which I’ve never seen before. Of course Bluetooth functions still work fine (lock/unlock/etc). Local control for the win - that is good fault isolation for sure!

💡 Here’s a Tesla app idea: let me type or paste from my phone to the car screen. Would be ideal for entering passwords in the web browser!
