Instead of optimizing multi-agent planners, we optimize warehouses to make coordination easier! This is probably my favorite application of environment generation recently! And the best part? We are completely agnostic to the chosen MAPF planner!

I've been working on principled methods for predicting failures for several years now. One challenge is convincing people this is a challenging technical problem to work on and a priority to study. It's both and we need entire labs focused on this problem!

I'm honored to be selected to the cohort for #RSSPioneers2023. If you are at Robotics: Science and Systems, stop by the workshop today and come say hello! Or stop by my poster later in the week!

#RSS2023 was my first in person robotics conference and was great! Now I'm in Lisbon for #GECCO2023! GECCO is always an exciting conference because the field seems to be moving so fast. Come say hi!

Our work on HRI scenario generation has been accepted at #CoRL 2023 for an oral presentation! Huge thanks to the reviewers and the area chairs for the detailed feedback, and I am excited to share this work with the robotics community at Conference on Robot Learning .

I just got tenure! I could not have asked for better students, better mentors and collaborators, and a more supportive department than USC CS. I am also grateful for the enthusiastic support of the HRI / QD / Open-Endedness academic communities.

Ecstatic to announce the release of pyribs 0.7.1! The absolute highlight of this release is the QDHF (Quality Diversity through Human Feedback) tutorial contributed by Li Ding! The tutorial is available here and runs on Google Colab in ~1 hour: docs.pyribs.org/en/stable/tuto…
