This time away from school is starting to wear on me. I miss my kids, I miss my coworkers, I miss my classroom. The more I reflect during this time, the less I will take for granted in the future. I miss teaching!!!

This year has been tough & we are only a quarter of the way through it. As I reflect over the first 9 weeks, I realize I may not have been as effective as I can be. But I do know I have done my best to create a classroom community that makes my kids feel cared about. That counts.

Best birthday gift I received today. Handmade card from one of my students with the sweetest ever note. So, yes, I love my job!
