I think Uncle Bob is a charlatan... but guys he's right on this one. Representing queries as a data structure in your host language is clearly superior to SQL. SQL blows and you know it. And I say this as a guy that is far better at SQL than 99% of engineers out there.

A productivity hack I like is to create forcing functions for yourself. It’s hard to bring peak agency to every encounter, but if you create forcing functions then you can rely on worry rather than will to guide you. A good example is running races. It’s hard to train every day

I reckon the best application layer AI companies will turn out to look more like Snowflake than Salesforce. They will expose all the magic and solve problems like governance, reliability, and security. The power is in the prompt, and a vendor can't write your prompts just as

Intelligence is becoming a fungible resource. What does that mean exactly? Firstly, what is intelligence and why does it matter to businesses? In practical terms, a useful definition is that it's a resource that lets you compute decisions in the context of some goals and a

I looked at ~2800 VC-backed companies with >50 Glassdoor reviews and calculated the Grindscore for each. Grindscore = "Positive Business Outlook" / "Work Life Balance" >1.1 suggests employees believe in the business and are working very hard. India #1 is not a surprise 🇮🇳
