2026 grads: Pay attention to posts by guys like Prep Baseball Virginia/DC this spring and notice the amount of 2025 grad 85-88 RHP and producing position players who are committed to D2/D3/JUCO/NAIA programs. The entry point for D1 baseball has changed and D2/D3/JC/NAIA ball has DUDES.

The fact of the matter is no matter which division you end up, you WILL be competing against older and probably more talented players than if you went to that same school five years ago. The barrier for entry into college baseball has increased.

It’s even more important than ever to find a great program who will turn you into a better player at 20 than you were at 18, and who will give you the opportunity to grow and play for years to come. Whatever “division” that is, find it!
