This is the first time I've seen the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 show up in analogs. Of course, NYC has never recorded a completely dry month until now either, so might see some exceptional outcomes given the incredible dryness across areas east of the Rockies

This is exactly what I did with a bunch of Nordic energy traders in the North Sea during an event in September 2003. No seatbelts...my life passed before my eyes multiple times. Will never forget it.
