Her Excellency The Acting Governor Anya Williams and Hon Premier Charles Washington Misick visited the Providenciales International Airport to wish the Officers of the TCI Regiment well as they departed the islands for London to participate in the Kings Coronation Parade.

Discussions held today with officers of the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF), the Turks and Caicos Islands Regiment and Her Excellency, Governor, Anya Williams and Deputy Premier, Erwin Jay Saunders. Discussions were centered around D.A.R.T. - Disaster Assistance Response Team.

Happening now: Members of the TCI Regiment are currently at the Long Bay High School giving the students a hands on experience with military kit such as HADR relief kit and Ballistic vests, and educating them on the key roles and functions of the TCI Regiment.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed on Tuesday May 23, 2023, signifies the re-establishment of the J-LEG as the oversight body in support of a Multi-Agency Operational Compliance Taskforce (MOCT) to take active steps to enforce existing TCI laws-

UK Minister for the Overseas Territories David Rutley MP met members of the TCI Regiment. He spent time learning about its development over the last two years, it’s focus in developing skills and the Regiment’s critical participation in multi-agency operation security.

On Tuesday a contingent from our very own TCI Regiment traveled to join several countries to participate in the Exercise Event Horizon 2025. Training includes: Aeronautical & Maritime Search and Rescue, Cybersecurity, HADR & Maritime Security & Safety #ExEventHorizon25 #TCIR#HADR

Over the past few days our Troops along with personnel from the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands and Jamaica has been participating in a series of training which includes: Rope Work, Flood Defense, Vehicle Recovery, Casualty Extraction just to name a few.

Members of the Turks and Caicos Islands Regiment engaged with Rugby players from various schools such as the HJ Robinson High School, Louise Thomas Garland High, Provo Middle School and Wesley Methodist.. They were graced with a demonstration by the TCIR K-9 Unit.

On Wednesday February 19th '2025, The TCI Regiment collaborated with the Clement Howell High School assisting with their Exit Readiness Mock Interviews preparing the 5th form students for the job market under the theme: "Equipping Students for 21st Century Careers"

This past week, personnel from the Turks and Caicos Islands Regiment along with the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force and the TCI Fire and Rescue has been trained in USAR (Urban Search and Rescue).

Managing Defence in the Wider Security Context Course was held at the Roraima Duke Lodge in Georgetown Guyana this past month! Our very Captain Smith was a part of this training that was designed to deepen understanding of Defence Management, Defence policy formulation etc.
