Not trading Killorn would be the biggest mistake this off-season

I think I’d cut off a couple toes if it meant trading Killorn in the next hour

Really hope Palat is waiting to see if JBB can work the cap before he signs somewhere.

Gonna miss the 1 guaranteed odd man rush we’d have every playoff series from Rutta having the puck get passed him at the blue line before he stumbles to watch the odd man rush go all the way down the ice lol

I will personally move Killorn’s stuff to his new state if they trade him today.

If anyone ever feels yourself get mad at a player for signing somewhere for more money, ask yourself… would I take a pay cut to stay at the company I currently work for just to stay loyal to them? At the end of the day Hockey is their job and they deserve to be paid their value.

Palat quickly became my favorite player or too long after he came into the league. The effort he gave every shift at every part of the ice no matter the score or situation was 2nd to none. He’s well rounded and really knows how to throw the body around. He will be missed!

I’ll cherish 3 of my favorite memorabilia pieces a little more after today. Palat’s jersey from his rookie mini camp, his stick from games 2-4 against Boston in the 2020 bubble, and the puck from his 2nd career playoff goal. One of the best Bolts to ever put on that sweater!

(1/2) Couldn’t be happier for Palat. To put into perspective how much more he’ll make from 6x6M over resigning here for a shorter term and lower amount, say 3x4 he’d have to sign again at 34 when he probably would get less than 4 a year, maybe around 3x2.5…

(2/2) his total value at 6x6 would be $36 Mill. If he had to take the other 2 contracts it’d be a total of $19.5 Mill. That’s $16.5 Mill more over 6 years! He can do a lot for his hometown with that. He can change a lot of peoples lives and create more NHL players from there.
