Strongman training is about intentional progression. Each rep gets heavier for a reason, not to rush, but to build real strength that carries over when it matters. No max-outs. No shortcuts. Just disciplined work, rep by rep. Back to it. 💪

Everything I’m doing right now is intentional. It’s all preparing for what’s coming next this season, not just training for today, but training for what I’ll need when it counts. If you want help building your training the right way, DM MENTOR and let’s see if it’s a fit.

Most athletes train hard. The ones who grow consistently have structure and support behind them. If you’re ready to level up your athletic journey, DM MENTOR.

Right now, everything in my training has a job. This is the same approach I take with the athletes in their programming. To get to the next level, athletes need structured training, clear intent, and progression that actually prepares you for what's ahead.

Motivation doesn’t come from hype days or perfect sessions. It comes from knowing I showed up, stayed consistent, and trained with intent, even when it was hard. If you’re looking for structure, accountability, and real support in your athletic journey, DM MENTOR to learn more.

Squats are getting progressively heavier for a reason, not to chase numbers, but to build strength that shows up when it matters. If you’re ready to train with more direction, DM MENTOR. #TWoodstraining #Trainingprogram #Jumpsquats

Whether it’s squats, presses, or complex lifts that demand coordination and control, the work has to match the athlete and the goal. If you’re ready for training that evolves with you, DM MENTOR to learn more. #TWoodstraining #Athletementorship #Coachingprogram

Training isn’t about instant results, it’s about consistent, purposeful work. Every rep, every drill has a purpose. From power sprints to agility training, I focus on developing the skills that will take me further, faster. 💪

I focus on building speed through hockey specific movement, balance, coordination, and decision making. The goal is helping girls understand how their bodies move on the ice while creating an environment where they feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn.

Every rep is information. Every pause is a chance to reset. This is how strength turns into confidence and confidence turns into performance. This isn’t just about getting stronger. It’s about becoming dependable when it matters.

If you can’t own the weight on one leg, you won’t own it when the game gets chaotic. Strong isn’t just about how much you can squat. It’s about stability, control, and force production on each side.

Again and again I come back to unilateral work for my athletes. If you can’t control your body on one leg, you won’t control it at full speed. This is the foundation.

This drill isn’t just about shooting. It’s about puck control into execution. I teach my athletes to move the puck laterally first. Change the angle. Force the goalie to adjust. Then finish on a specific target. Accuracy under movement is what separates chances from goals.

When I run hockey drills, I’m not just looking at effort. Every drill should build: Puck control under pressure. Quick decision making. Accuracy, not just power. Execution at game speed. Train with purpose. The results follow.

In this session I’m progressively adding weight because that’s how real lower body power is developed. For my hockey athletes, progressive overload matters. More force production. More powerful strides. Stronger position in contact. Better durability through a season.

Strength work isn’t separate from sport, it’s the foundation of it. If your body isn’t strong enough to produce force, absorb force, and repeat it over and over, skill alone won’t carry you. Because performance isn’t built during competition. It’s built here.

When I run hockey drills, I’m not looking for players to just go through the motions. I’m watching habits. Anyone can look smooth in a slow drill. I want my athletes comfortable making plays when everything feels fast and chaotic. That’s how you train hockey.
