Last week I took on a new role as a Principal Engineer for Search Data Protection & Policy at Google. I’m excited to take on new privacy and security challenges, as I stay focused on the user. Yesterday was my first day actually in an office in a long time. It felt energizing.

Yes, we have to think very carefully about whether we are over dressed or under dressed for each occasion - and for each level. I still haven’t figured it out. When in doubt, I’ve started to 🤷🏻‍♀️ and pick what feels most like me. That’s when I feel most confident anyway.
