Emotional day here in RTÉ 2FM as after 40 years - the broadcasting legend Larry Gogan has decided to hang up his 2FM mic and will now present on RTE Gold.

It's been announced that RTÉ 2FM's Larry Gogan will be leaving 2FM at the end of January after 40 years but he will now be presenting on RTE Gold. His last day will be 31 January as part of a day of special events celebrating the DJ bit.ly/2Cii6GT
