every time i see stuff like this i get hit by the biggest wave of sadness bc gazans also had stuff they loved and cherished and collected. but it’s all gone now. i know this is nothing in comparison to the human lives we lost but it’s just another thing to mourn

As promised. I present to you, The Orion Nebula. Took this image last night, certainly one of my best - so far. This nebula is 1344 light years away from us.

You understand fully how insignificant this dunya is when you lose a close one. It’s as if you’d see them at their regular places, but they really are gone. With all they’ve worked for left behind & only what they prepared for their akhira is with them. It’s humbling.

At the end of your life, there’s no award for suffering or constantly sacrificing yourself just to prove something to others.

Never lose hope. To do so would be to give up on your merciful Lord. Trust Him that things will get better. The storm won’t last forever.
