First weekend practice after the year-long pandemic. We’re grateful to have our devoted Sensei and fellow kenshi to keep our practices rolling! Also, we want to sincerely thank 🥋 Lawrence World Class Karate for generously providing the Dojo as our practice space. Stay safe, and go orange!

KCSU attended the 25th Harvard Shoryuhai this past weekend in Cambridge, MA. It was great to see many familiar and new faces on the courts. And our members have had a great time learning from our fellow Kenshi and senseis across the country.

KCSU members participated in the joint practice today with Kendo clubs at University of Rochester, Cornell University and UBuffalo. We deeply appreciate the opportunity to meet with our fellow kenshi across the region, and we look forward to strengthening the college Kendo connection in upstate New York.

Becoming a Kendo coach was the last thing I had expected. For that, I'm so grateful for the opportunities Syracuse University Kendo Club at Syracuse University gave me. 米国で剣道部のコーチになるなんて夢にも思わなかったけど、学生の力になれて嬉しいし稽古楽しいし、何より私のダイエットになるので全てよし💯😇
