Refuse pick up has been cancelled for residents who’s normal pickup days were WED and THURS this week. Refuse will be picked up next week on your normal trash day. Additional trash will be accepted for residents skipped this week. Tomorrow's refuse pickup remains on schedule.

City of Sylvania garbage collection will begin at 6am tomorrow (Fr. 7/19) instead of 7am due to extreme heat expected for the day. Please have garbage out tonight or by 6am tomorrow.

Getting a lot of calls in regards to leaf pickup. Regular pickup will be completed this Friday Dec 6th. We will make one final trip of all areas beginning on Mon Dec 9th. This is outside the regular schedule so be sure to kick your leaves to the curb by Sunday night!

Face coverings to limit the spread of COVID-19 are strongly recommended in the City of Sylvania for all residents who are able to wear one in public places where physical distancing is not possible. We will continue to monitor the situation according to OH Gov DeWine.

UPDATE: Republic Services will begin refuse & recycling services at 5am Wed. Feb 2nd due to the inclement weather anticipated tomorrow. They are hoping to get all of Wednesday serviced & will make decisions for the remainder of the week depending on weather & road conditions.
