Since Babar Azam's T20I debut, there have been 39 half-centuries for Pakistan. 16 are by Babar Azam. No other batsman has scored more than four.

Left red faced by Mohammad Hafeez’s comment that the players of the mid & late 1990s early 2000s did not win a major ICC 🏆, Shoaib Akhtar lied by claiming that 73 wins in ODIs v India were possible due to their efforts. A blatant lie. Pak-Ind ODIs started in 1978. Here, a thread 1/1

A majority of Pak analysts, commentators, sports scribes & ex-cricketers are terrible at analysis. Barring reasonable exceptions, they run smear campaigns, personal agendas, get riled up & triggered when countered with objective facts. Mediocre. Yes, there are notable exceptions.

For today’s loss, the only player responsible is Babar Azam on 3 counts: 1. Being born in a country where ex-players are toxic, jealous, insecure & do not want anyone else to become a poster boy of world cricket. 2. Playing for a board that punishes talent. 3. For 14k+ runs

Jahandad is just another "parchi" selection, as he plays in Aqib Javed's Lahore Qalandars. On merit, Aamir Jamal or Wasim Jr. are more deserving as a fast-bowling all-rounder.

Need to adjust Abdullah Shafique somewhere, the rest look good. Probably Abdullah Shafique over Saud. I know Saud is a proper middle-order batsman but I can't leave Abdullah Shafique out from the playing 11 for longer.

“If they offer Eid prayers on the road or terrace in UP,” their travel documents will be impounded. Their mosques are covered with tarpaulin sheets during Holi. In another part of the world, a central mosque is shut for Shab-e-Qadr prayer. Eric Hobsbawm’s “Interesting Times”!

A procession after Babar Azam — a familiar story. Aquib has ruined this team after the fluke win in a test series over England on a dust bowl. Lost tri-series at home. First round exit in CT25 due to horrible selection. No specialist openers & spinners. Lost T20 series in NZ

Kashmiris have consumed meat, chicken, fish, fruits, rice, basil seeds and dates worth X amount. They have inhaled Oxygen & exhaled Carbon dioxide. In violation of all laws and norms, they continue to breathe, survive, read, live & hope. It deserves condemnation. And Eid Mubarak!

“Quom” is originally an Arabic word. Also, used in Urdu for a group people of speaking the same language or sharing the same ethnicity. Then, there is a Kashmiri word “Qom”. It means fodder, particular type of food given to lamb, sheep, goat, cow etc. Understand the difference!

Saad, Riazullah, Omair, Fawad, Abbas, Jahandad, Momin, Barki, Yasir, Shahid, Faisal, Ubaid, Samad, Maaz. Mehran. Haseebullah, Khurram, Wasim Jr— these youngsters hardly get to play in PakistanSuperLeague 2025. Aged players Shoaib, Iftikhar. Asif, Sikandar, Amir, Imad playing. Talent hunt?
