As #China imprisons more advocates for democracy in #HK, there is silence from our Govt. They should be pressing UK companies to stop investing there. #Uyghurlivesmatter #HongKongProtests

On his way to the court from prison, Joshua Wong 黃之鋒 😷 hold up 3 fingers and a gesture of heart. He is one of the bravest and most sturdy democratic activists that I have ever met. I think his heart and minds are occupied by the struggles around the world, including in #Myanmar.

Regrettably many details in court could not be reported due to legal restrictions; but what happened outside the court can be reported. See a @StandNewsHK photo of the 47’s gestures when getting on the prison van to the court:

#EU cannot condemn human rights abuses in #Xinjiang and #HongKong while also providing a platform to promote those who publicly deny the atrocities in Xinjiang and celebrate the arrest of democracy activists in Hong Kong‼️

HK is delivering a Master Class in showing that people who say, the law is the law, and therefore has to be followed are ass wipes. The law is exactly what the government says it is. That’s why having a moral & ethical government is worth fighting for.

China continues to take freedom from Hong Kongers, among millions of others. The authoritarian rule from the Communist party is denying basic human rights, punishing pro-democracy citizens, & acting with more impunity than ever before. The WH needs to wake up to this threat.

5 years ago I was denied entry to #HongKong on #Beijing's orders- although I've always been peaceful 3 days ago, peaceful #HongKongers were beaten up by #CCP thugs in #Manchester Time to stand up to #XiJinping's goons Why should I be banned while Zheng Xiyuan roams free?
