I’d like Dictator Carney to show us where he ran on this in his election platform. This is a huge decision that Cdns should be able to have input on.

If you know any economic history, you’d know Cda talks about moving away from the US every decade or so. That’s been happening for about a century. Altho I agree we should diversify our trading relationships, it’s never really happened. Geography & integrated economies matter.

Those “regular Palestinians” elected a Hamas govt, which has never since had elections btw, & seeing those regular Palestinians beating young women’s corpses after Oct 7 suggests maybe no difference between Hamas & those “regular” folks. Kids are trained to hate Jews early there.

If all govts stopped wasting our $ we could have a tax cut & people could afford to feed their families. Classic socialist policy- overtax the people, creating problems then an expensive, bureaucracy-laden policy to “solve” the problem. And govt always does everything so well!
