Rest in Peace English actor Terence Stamp (July 22, 1938 – August 17, 2025), whose early film credits include Billy Budd, The Collector, Modesty Blaise, Poor Cow, Far from the Madding Crowd, Blue, Teorema, The Mind of Mr. Soames, Hu-Man, Superman, and Superman II.

I loved his skills, his screen presence, his unique voice. His sharp blue eyes could both seduce and strike fear. Romance, drama, thriller, Sci-Fi. Hero or villain. He did them all and excelled every time. Goodbye and Farewell Terence Stamp.

We’re saddened to hear of the passing of Terence Stamp, aged 87. Well known for playing General Zod in the Superman films, Stamp was nominated for two BAFTAs in 1963 and 1995 for his work in Billy Budd and The Adventures Of Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert.
